Loki is a male four year old ferret that weighs 1.4 pounds and I need some help. Loki started losing weight in March; by April the 13th he was down to 2 pounds and was diagnosed with a very large spleen. We had the spleen removed and he was doing great. About three weeks ago Loki started to lose weight again, but is eating all the time. I feed him food with 40% protein and he is hand fed twice a day chicken soup but still loses weight. What would you suggest my vet try? Dr. Smith has ask me to ask the FML for suggestions. In the past you all were extremely helpful with my mega E ferret Samson that is still hanging in there. Please email me at [log in to unmask] ASAP with any and all suggestions. Thanks, Carol Voivedich Rager [Posted in FML issue 5023]
