Our club was invited to a local news station Wednesday to do three, two minute spots on the morning news about ferrets. We took eight fur kids and all got on TV, Our club treasurer (Jane) was elected or conned into doing the interviews while three of us stayed in the background wrangling ferrets. Steve the morning man started off holding Scooter, the most laid back fur kid in the entire world and ended up with Smitty a real wiggle worm. Jane told him and the viewing audience about the shelter we have started, our club and of course taking in these guys, the maintenance and a lot of other information, We have already had a reply from a lady about forty-five minutes from here asking about the club. They posted our web site as the interview progressed and all in all the interview went extremely well. The purpose was to inform the public all about these guys, the fact that they are not like cats and dogs, sleep a lot and other tid bits. So you might want to talk to a local station and see if you can get your club or shelter on TV to let the public know about these guys and your organization, who knows you may get member or donations and of course get to show off your fur kids Patrick and the six pack [Posted in FML issue 4988]
