I apologize that I was wrong about you not volunteering for a shelter,
although you don't actually RUN a shelter, and simply volunteering for
one is not the same.  Ask anyone who has sat on both sides of the fence.
 
You still owe a lot of people an apology for insinuating that any shelter
who is not a 501(c)3 is a bunch of crooks and not running a good shelter.
While some have issues that should be addressed and not enabled, there
are many fine shelters who do not have a 501(c)3, and your generalized
attack was narrow-minded and ignorant.
 
I took that insinuation very personally, as did several others.  We're
still waiting on your apology.
