I am so very proud to have my Bro grace the pages of the calendar this year. I saw him at a local shelter he looked so sickly and sad, but he had the face or an angel. I enquired about he and his cage-mate Sis. I was told that Bro had been to many specialists and had many tests, one of which they had to shave a section of his furr off for a biopsy. The sad result was Bro had a large mass on his side growing through his ribcage. It was lymphosarchoma and Bro was not going to live to see his hair grow back. I truly believed that Bro was meant to come home with me to live out his last days in a loving home getting all the extra special love and attention he deserved. Well I Packed up Bro and Sis and home they came. Bro was a very sick little ferret when he arrived home but with a lot of love and care he started to come around. When Bro was strong enough I took him in for a second opinion. My vet said the same thing "its inoperable. He's Terminal" Well "POOF" on that Vet! Well I guess Bro wasn't listening He seems to grow stronger and stronger every day! Hes a happy, dooking, bouncing, sock stealing, fool! More than three years and still counting! Bro is my angel. He has shown me how to be a survivor. He's my miracle baby boy. My Bro, AKA Vincent Van Bro, is an artist creating ferrety finger paintings and many other ferrety creations for ferret lovers. Bro was featured in the july/August Ferrets Magazine About Ferret Phenoms. Bro is a sweet cuddler who loves his newest playmates Buddy & Bear I hope you all enjoy the Calendar this year, There are some very special ferrets in it this time!
