23 hours a day is too much, Gordon.  If not already done and the cause
under treatment with regular vet visits then it is time for a vet exam,
including CBC with Chemistry Panel including blood sugar levels and
chest imaging.  If it is insulinoma or cardiomyopathy or lympho (or some
others) then it is time for a a vet visit for meds adjustments.  Gotta
find it to fix it (or at least treat it).
