Hi to All....

Have been on the list for a short while now and find it very interesting.
I have four ferrets, Samwise Gamgee is a beautiful silver mitt while his
sister Molly is a stripe (white with black stripe, we call her our
reverse skunk) and George a black sable. Our newest addition is Oscar
who is approximately 10 to 14 weeks old.

Oscar has a prolapsed rectum. Has anyone had this problem and what if
any solutions are there besides surgery. This little guy was probably
shipped out way too soon and had to be fostered out from the pet store
just so he would survive. Unfortunately his brother did not make it.

It does not seem to bother him as it tends to retract fairly quickly.

My other problem is Princess Molly has taken a nasty dislike to the
little fellow, the boys play fine with Oscar at play time but Molly
seems bent on "seek and destroy". Obviously I am caging him separately
till he gets much bigger. (14 ounces now, 8 ounces when I got him)

We also have three cats, a dog, and a bunny and they all play together
quite nicely.

thanks and take care.......
