Condolences to those with lost, sick, or angeled star stuff... "...because we are all...star stuff." Well, now I've got *good* news to report! Hershey has been on prednisone steroid treatment for three days. The change is astounding! He plays almost the entire time he it out of his cage. He comes up on the futon to eat snacks (he hasn't done that for years!). He plays with the cat (even when the cat is sleeping!). He plays with the girls (not the one he cages with--the other ones that sing and dance and bounce around the house from the *other* cage). He even makes a bee-line to Spazzie and Dancer's cage to eat their food (same food he has in his own bowl), drink from their water bottle (ditto) and "use" their litter box, as soon as everyone gets released for silly behavior! I also checked his tumors. They are still noticibly present, but seem to be a bit smaller. The vet said it could take a few days for them to shrink enough to really be able to tell. However, by the results I'm getting now, I'm very impressed! Its almost like having a brand new kit in the house! Wait a minute...this *is* Hershey, the ferret genius. I'd better hide my tools! BTW, I have a ferret that suffers from a partial affliction of Bovine TB. Ok, not the TB part...just the bovine part. He's trying very hard to get to be as big as a cow! --- Todd and the Fuzzbutt Rodeo Clowns mailto:[log in to unmask] http://www.netconex.com/toddl/page2/ [Posted in FML issue 4785]
