In response to the fraudulent emails you may receive from legitimate
looking spoofers, Never, NEVER, NEVER!!! click a link in an email that
asks about personal information such as passwords or account numbers.
Ebay has a section completely devoted to internet security and these
"spoof" emails. If you get one you can forward it with full header
information to [log in to unmask] so it can be reported to the proper
authorities since it is a crime. The Ebay security site link is here:
http://pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/mrkt_safety.html,
they even tell you what a real ebay sign in website address should look
like. remember there are a lot of unsavory charaters out there who make
a living by stealing your identity, better to be safe than sorry.
