Risa I just finished reading an article in Ferrets magazine that had a snippet of information about a ferret that had to have it's tail removed. It explained that without the balancing factor of the tail, the ferret kind of walked side to side (they called it shuffling) like a bear on all fours. Otherwise, it was just fine.
