Rebel didn't remember his mum He was taken away, at only three weeks old The breeder thought this was a cute age, For kits to be sold. Rebel didn't know how to be a ferret, He was raised by hand, from only three weeks old He never new his siblings they too were sold, At only three weeks old Rebel could only love he had never learned to play He thought life was for being cuddled He had learned no other way God saw the love in Rebel and took him back to the fold He took sweet Rebel back at only two years old Rebel is an angel now he spreads his love around A more loving ferret than Rebel I'm sure could not be found He was needed to love all ferrets, who die needlessly at man's hand To tell them, we are not all like that; some of us try to understand Stephenie [Posted in FML issue 4685]
