Me and my three fuzzgals are settling into our new condo home. I had written before moving stressed out that the "ferrets room" was carpeted. The plan was for free roam whenever I was home and being sectioned off in their room when I was out. I bought an air purifier and 20 feet of clear runner to prep their area. I was really stressed about the carpet because before the move we were doing really bad retraining free roam pooping habits (they get further and further from the paper/litterbox/etc). Anyways the first weekend I was home unpacking and they were never barriered into their own room. To my delight they didn't go to the bathroom AT ALL in their room, not in the litterbox, not on the paper, not on the rug. They left the room and used the paper in the bathroom (-: I was so happy and decided to keep them free roam all the time. I never even put the clear runner down at all, didn't need to. Unfortunately I was a little premature in my celebrations. No, they still aren't pooping on their bedroom carpet, they are however pooping on mine!!!! Naughty little poopers! I'm telling Santa!
