Hello, I just wanted to respond to Jennifer's question about why we oppose the sale of the ferret pelt. I know I can't speak for everyone but I for one found it as disturbing as I would find a domesticated dog or cat pelt for sale on E Bay (which I have yet to see and hope I never do). I don't belong to PETA or anything, nor do I think you should have to to oppose something like that, I just have a problem with killing an animal (any animal) that you don't plan on eating (ex. for fur, ivory, etc). I really tend to prefer the Native American's outlook on animals...that they are all sacred and they didn't waste any of the animal they used all of it. I also don't think that selling a stuffed "pet" is the same thing as selling a hopefully non-pet pelt because chances are that they didn't kill the pet specifically to stuff it. Hope I'm making sense, the cold medicine is beginning to get to me lol. Lisa and the Diabolical Dozen [Posted in FML issue 4641]
