My SO and I have had the same problem: her ferrets and mine all unanimously reject the new Ferretbites in both chicken and banana-raisin form. Meanwhile, we found an alternative to the chicken flavor. It's under the brand name Snaffers, comes in a yellow box, and seem minimally distinguishable from the old wedge-shaped Ferretbites (they even look the same). Our ferrets like them the same. We've found them only at smaller pet-supply stores, not at Petsmart or Petco. The rub is that they cost about a dollar more. I wrote to 8 in 1, too, and they told me that they changed suppliers and the old ones weren't coming back. So far we've found no alternative to the banana-raisin variety so we'll check out that L&M brand that somebody recommended. One of mine in particular, Oscar, is finicky and if he ate any treats at all, it was the ban-raisin. He gets my attention by rolling onto his back like a sea otter and looking up at me. Now when you try to give him something, he sniffs it, gets back on his feet and walks away. :-( Gordon, what exactly happened to Bud after eating Yogies? You can write to me privately if you want. I've given them to mine, only three or four per day max, most take them OK but one throws up. Of course, she won't get any more. Dan [Posted in FML issue 4629]
