A female ferret has been found in Andover, MA. This ferret had been
spotted in a wooded area about a week ago. The person who saw the ferret
went out of town for a few days and when she returned saw ferret again
sharing a dish of cat food with two cats.

Today, because it was raining, she decided it best to bring ferret inside
and try to contact someone to help her find ferret's owner. She called
Diddy on our Hotline and Diddy gave her basic instructions on who to
contact, what to feed the ferret and promised to get back with her in a
day or so with any updates or instructions.

If anyone in the Andover area has lost a ferret, please call the MaFF
Hotline - 781-224-1098 and ask for Diddy. She will be able to assist you
in reuniting you with your little one.

This is an amazing story of a ferret surviving sweltering heat, high
humidity, predators, etc. for over a week. She is a truly amazing
little girl and deserves to be in a safe place soon.
