Just a friend reminder of our upcoming clinics and events. On September 4th from 11am - 4pm we are holding a Maintenance Clinic, which includes clipping and buffing nails, cleaning ears, bathing (if necessary or wanted) and cleaning teeth for the ferrets. We will also being holding a Distemper Clinic from 11am - 1pm (a vet is on-call, less than 5 minutes away). The cost for the shots is $10 per ferret per shot. And last but not least, we are holding an ADV Clinic. The cost is $15 per ferret and your choice of either the Avecon of United Blood or Saliva test. On September 17th at the Holiday Inn Northeast, 3499 Street Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, we are holding a judge's and steward's meeting. This meeting is open to any who want to join in or come and hear the discussions. This class will teach you about the different colors and how the ferrets are judged. The manuals are a $10 donation. On September 18th we are holding our All Championship Ferret Show at the Holiday Inn Northeast, 3499 Street Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 in the Grand Ball Room. We will be also holding a maintenance clinic at the show. The show is open to the public from 9am - 7pm. But we are taking late entries at the door for both the fun events and the show itself but show registration there is a $1 late fee per ferret per entry. The fun events are $1 entry fee and include the heaviest/lightest male and female, costume contest, basket escape, paper bag escape, longest tail, longest whisker and many more...... Also on September 18th, we are holding a Rabies Clinic but we ask that you pre-register them. Since in years before, we sometimes don't have enough shots. The rabies shots are $15 per ferret per shot. Depending on how many will be coming the Rabies Clinic will start around 2-3pm and go for a couple hours. Dont forget to mark your calendars! If anyone wishes to rent vendor space or donate any items for the show, please let me know.
