I got mine stuff at Woodcraft Supply, but any woodworker's type of supply house will carry it. I normally have two cages connected, but sometimes change the configuration to include a pet carrier, or a maze of hoses for enforced in-cage times (as when traveling). Matt Staroscik posted pretty detailed directions here: http://wrongcrowd.com/gallery/litterbox (his directions are for making a separate litterbox, but the same principles apply for joining two cages). I haven't had any problem with the hoses coming loose. The blast gate is fastened to the cage, and you can screw the hose clamps on pretty tight. And the hose is much tougher than dryer hose; my guys have not been able to dig a hole in it in several years. Good luck. --Claire (Sam, Frankie, Missy; Louie, Lilo) [Posted in FML issue 4517]
