Yer friend Tara here;) Last year we did 4 adrenals in 2 months. 3 in one day, Bless Dr Alice Davis, Molalla, Oregon. Plus Chris & Dave Mathis. Rambo buncious had NO symptoms just could not pee one day. So off to Oregon we went. I KNOW what that means..... Figured sibce the others were close to 4, one 5 .. may as well put them in too.... all Marshall, all adrenal. NO SYMPTOMS. Dr Alice is under 300.00 and at that time had 3 done for 750.00, one was a complicated right plus a Positive biopsy for IBD. I'm almost under the idea that once a ferret reaches 4 just go in;( As to the Oregon situations? The one who had the ferrets in back of her hubbys truck? Char Schuster & myself did the transport giving that gal & her hubby 2 adorable, young, exuberant ferrets. Their sad family were being transferred to Hawaii. Both Char & i wanted to keep those kids SO BADLY!!.. but we had promised.. I am SO P@$$#&. This is nothing short of animal abuse! After writing many times, I get a mail. "I almost contacted you first as you brought them to me.... " Plus their other ferret came from a Shelter in Oregon & should of gone back THERE! They had these 2 lil girls a year, it was all an excuse. So this situation, STINKS! The gal without the $800.00 right now for an adrenal operation? I'm GLAD she posted! No need to spend that kind of money! She is going to call me today & is safely in my hands.... she has money, just caught short of 800.00.. sorry but it happens!! I have turned her on to our Vet, Dr Alice.. who is one of the BEST and very inexpensive as stated earlier. I travel 3.5 hrs... Well worth it;)) So no more worries on that front. He will have his operation & stay with his family;))) If need be, i'll help her out.. been there, and like Val said, without ClubMedFerrets i would of been in trouble.. they were payed back but Bless you guys and your generous Spirits! ;)))))) Love & Health;) Tara Join our Ferret Group!!
