This article appeared today in the Altoona Mirror: (Altoona, PA) "Call it the case of the (almost) frozen ferrets. A baker's dozen of ferrets were found by a passer-by behind a Lemoyne grocery store on Friday morning, when single-digit temperatures gripped the area. The animals weathered the weather and are being offered for adoption today, said Jill Troutman of the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area in Swatara Township. The four male and nine female ferrets were given food and water, bathed, and examined." Thought you might be interested. Be well... Amy [Posted in FML issue 4398]
