Hi everyone, I have a problem with one of my ferrets. She was a rescue we picked up Thanksgiving Day. We don't know much about her, except that she is an albino named Nikita, around 3 years old, and always lived alone. Here's the scoop: - She has never missed the litter box. - She doesn't mind baths; she loves to play in water. - When you pick her up, she snuggles and kisses. - When you put her down, she plays & dances. - Pick her up again, snuggly...put her down again, playful. - Never nibbles toes under the covers at night. - Hold out her harness, and she sticks her head in for you. - Walks on her leash like a perfectly trained show dog. - Gets along fine with other ferrets, cats, dogs, and bunnies. - Eats anything enthusiastically. The list goes on and on... At this point, I'm not even sure she really is a ferret...! She isn't normal! What's wrong with her?! What am I missing?! She has extra long super-soft fur, chipmunk cheeks, and dainty little toes. She is the epitome of health and happiness. She is made of CUTE. And, normal or not, I give thanks every day that she has come to live with us. Julie & the Woozles 21st Century Ferret http://geocities.com/woozle31 [Posted in FML issue 4397]
