Condolences to those with lost, sick, or angeled Invasion FLO members... Apparently, the FLO has organized several groups of ferrets and started invading homes of non-ferret owners and trashing them, before leaving without a trace. Verizon personnel have been visiting these homes during those invasions, urging the teenaged children left "Home Alone 4" the purposes of letting the ferrets in, to take a picture with their newly-aquired camera phone, which is then sent to their parents (who apparently already *have* a camera phone), to prove "The Ferrets Did It." How original. We all know ferrets don't do bad things. Of course, in Verizon's opinion, the ferrets sound more like a full session of Congress (what with all the babbling and silly noises they make), and at one point, the teenaged male yells, "Dude, get it off my leg! Get it off!" (hey, it was just dressed in a squirrel costume and was looking for some nuts!). At least this time, no ferret is alleged to have bitten anyone. However, they *did* state that the ferrets invaded the house and trashed the place. Now, can *anyone* here imagine a ferret messing up a house...let alone an entire invasion of them (which constitutes how many ferrets???)? Or did these ferrets all escape from a Petco somewhere? Or maybe a group of people were all walking their ferrets and while they (the people) chatted, all of the ferrets wiggled out of their leashes and escaped to invade a neighborhood, then all ran back, wiggled back into their leashes and no one noticed? I mean, after all, you must actually *have* a bunch of ferrets, in order for them to become an invasion, don't you? On a final note, when the Verizon guy comes in the house, the kid asks how he got there and the Verizon guy says "The ferrets let me in." That answers the question of how repairs guys seem to get into my house to fix things that didn't work when I left the house, but work when I show up with all of the expensive, non-returnable parts to fix it myself. The ferrets let them in. Then the ferrets showed them how to fix the non-working item. Yeah. Wait...Maybe Switch and Hurricane Lily (those master-mechanics that they are!) sneak down here to Pennsylvania and fix stuff for me! :) Todd and the Fuzzbutt Rodeo Clowns! --- mailto:[log in to unmask] http://www.netconex.com/toddl/page2/ [Posted in FML issue 4388]
