Your ferrets are just like teenagers...they get into trouble, and probably make a lot of their play time. They will probably wind down when they hit the 1.5 - 2 year mark, some may take longer than that, and some may never wind down. It all just depends on the personality. If you're looking for a "lap" ferret, I'm sure there is a good shelter nearby where you live that is just loaded with loving ferrets...why don't you give them a call and visit :) Oh, and if your ferrets wind down really fast with in a few weeks...a drastic personality change might need a vet visit, something may be causing your baby to be so sluggish...may be a cold, loss of a cage mate, adrenal, lymphoma, anything....better safe than sorry :) Enjoy them while they're still bouncing around and having a blast...try doing a few games to interact with them...maybe get a big box full of cornstarch packing peanuts (the kind that dissolve when wet) and drop in the ferret....plenty of fun there :) -val ===== ~*~*~ VALERIE ~*~*~ ,',', __ \ `'`,/ \ ()o=; `'`','`/ . \/ / ( / \" / \(_ \(_ ~*`~*`FERRETS RULE~`*~`* Missing Noodles + Rosie at the Rainbow Bridge [Posted in FML issue 4388]
