SaraFerret, I will take you up on your generous offer.... Please check on Ian, our black sable who passed Jan. 1995 of insulinoma. We didn't have him very long but I hope he still remembers us. Elektra, my Twinkle-girl, my very old lady who was at least 8 and passed Jan. 1996. Tell her that Hannah took her place as meat-eating ferret but no one can ever take her place in our hearts. We still remember her brave battle with regaining use of her leg after she was caught in bedding for hours while we were at work. Not to mention the time she had a mast cell tumor removed and faked the vet into thinking she died after local anesthetic! Claudia, my bladder-stone, cardio, insulinoma, bilateral adrenal original Ferret Wench of America who passed October 1998. She had the cutest ferret face ever and that stands to this day. Tell her Hannah has now taking to cleaning her face like Claudia used to do. Sidney, who I miss most of all, my lap-ferret, my deaf BEW who I absolutely adored and passed November 1999. I miss you so much, my wonderful boy. You have no idea how much, and how glad I'll be to see you again someday. Max, who just passed this past Valentine's Day. Has he settled in? Is he leaping about as in days of old? Tell him Hannah misses him lots and we do too. And finally, Tasha, who ran away July 2002 and has never been found. If she's there, Sara, please let her know that her leaving us upsets us the most. Her two-legged brother Paul still cries for her. Hannah's not been quite the same since she left. (I hope she's not there, but I know it's a real possibility.) Thank you for your offer to check on my little angels. Amy, Dave, Sarah & Paul (and their gaggle of giggling ferrets) RIP Ian, Elektra, Claudia, Sidney & Max Missing Tasha [Posted in FML issue 4357]
