Hi, all- I have not had a chance to read the FML really in the last month :( due to being overwhelmed and not having a lot of time (any) when the internet is available to me at my new job, but I wanted to wish you all a healthy and happy holiday season and a great new year. I sure am looking forward to a fresh start-it's been a terrible year for Shawn, me and the "kids"-we lost my 23-yr-old sister-in-law right after 2003 started, I was in a car accident and also fell down a lot of stairs and am now in physical therapy, we lost my Shannon, I got the other car broken into and trashed (after totalling the other one in said accident), among other things. On the bright side, I started a new job for more money as a tech at a different vet clinic (but I still miss my old clinic!), Shawn kept his job, and we added Bandit to our family. Bandit is still on Lupron awaiting a second attempt at removing his right adrenal, and Cora was just confirmed via UTENN adrenal panel to be adrenal after an ultrasound showed nothing, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will do well with their surgeries and 2004 will start off better than 2003! I hope you, your families and your furkids are safe and sound and have Merry Christmases, Happy Hanukkahs, Happy Kwanzaas, Happy New Years and Joyous whatever other holidays you may celebrate. Peace, April and Shawn and Marley, Cora, Bandit, Nicodemus, Finnegan and Shannon, Renate and Sparkle from the Rainbow Bridge [Posted in FML issue 4371]
