The test for parasites is good, but we generally run 2-3 tests, as coccidia may not be shed with each stool. Regarding foreign bodies - you NEVER think that they have gotten into anything. However, unless you are monitoring young animals 24 hours a day - you can't be sure - I know - I've been fooled by my own ferrets time and time again...
