Permission to crosspost Hello friends. I am posting for another shelter that is too "proud" to ask for help. Dawn and Don Glidden run a ferret shelter in Tucson, Arizona. They are wonderful people and great ferret lovers. They have been helping another shelter for over 10 years and for the last 2 years have been operating their own shelter, Hooked on Fuzzies. www.geocities.com/hookedonfuzzies They take in a lot of ferrets from the humane society and of course from individuals. No ferrets are turned away. They have a lot of permanent residents and several shelter kids needing homes. Right now their count is around 50 ferrets total in the shelter. And this number will be growing again this week with 4 more expected to come in. They currently have a vet bill of $1800 and more to come due to some kids waiting on surgeries and about 8 kids that just came in and will be going to the vet for check up and shots. Ok... so what do they need? She feels that there are other shelters out there in need of help more than they do. She is always trying to give more than receive... If you can help, even by sending a couple dollars to them or their vet that would be wonderful! Thank you... Joanne Ferret Corner Shelter [Posted in FML issue 4301]
