I think I have a black cloud over my head and I am also drowning in a big lake. I keep thinking if we can just make it until January we will be ok then something else happens. Today our washing machine died. My husband tried to fix it and he is real good at that kind of thing but it is 10 years old and has been washing ferret rescue bedding ten years so it finally went. How can I run a rescue without a washer?? I have one ferret inperticular, Wildthing who I am not sure what to do with , he poops on everything and everywhere, he is the only ferret who can jump our enclosure and then he goes and poops on the throw carpet. I pride myself on keeping a extremly clean rescue, people who come here and do not know I do rescue never would I am so anal and clean but a few weeks ago when the group came over they made a comment the rescue room smelled "ferrety" and it has drove me crazy since. I clean all the time but Wildthing poops all over the rug. I finally threw it out the other day and am trying to beg for old lenolium to do that side of the basement were he goes and poops. It is safe to run just not easy to clean. I have been on edge deciding what to do with him, he is making my work 100 times harder and me mental state not good when someone says they smell the ferrets alittle. And now the washer goes out, what next!! For now I will have to close the doors until I can get a washer, I do 3 loads a day and can not leave to go to a laundry mat everyday. Anyone know where the cheapest washers are if I can beg for the funds to get it? Stephanie Ferrets Etc. [Posted in FML issue 4288]
