There is a nasty rumor circulating that not >all of these kids are being spayed and neutered,...that some are being >kept whole and returned to breeding....absolutely unthinkable after what >these kids have >been through. Answers please? Anyone? Every kid IS being spayed and neutered!!! They are getting wonderful and loving care. Absolutely none will be returned to breeding. I admit I know nothing about 20 whole hobs trapped in a state park though. It doesn't seem likely ONLY hobs would be found, does it? Ask your reliable source, please. Kim, you and I agreed a long time ago that we would agree to disagree concerning Rocky's. I find Rocky's to be a great shelter. Putting aside personal differences between you and Barb, she does a terrific job. The fuzzbutts in her charge get excellent treatment as well as a neverending portion of love. Barb's heart breaks at every loss. I have adopted 3 from her. They are totally healthy and well-adjusted. And all 3 had been spayed or neutered prior to my adopting them. The bitterness between you and Barb at times overexceeds the bounderies. When it comes the ferrets, bygones should be bygones. The Hagerstown rescue was AWESOME. I only ask that it not be belittled. Reliable sources or not. Had to butt in, Millie- also a Pooflinger Ferrets in a home will always bring smiles !! [Posted in FML issue 4271]
