Hello all! The shelter had a very special visitor this week! Her name
is Danielle and she visited us all the way from Newfoundland. The
shelter fuzzies enjoyed meeting her and our Rockette didn't even try to
nip her lol!

The shelter took in a special boy this week on Wednesday from Oakville
H.S. He was supposedly a stray. His name is Mr. Mugs (Neo), he is about
4 years old and he is blind. He also has adrenal disease and a few
tumor-like growths that need to be removed. His 1st trip to the vet
was for blood work and since it has come back fine, he'll be going for
surgery in the coming week.

Boddington is holding his own. He's still not great but he tries to war
dance and balance. He is going back to the vets this week for a check up
and new antibiotics. His sister Salsa, has gone to Camp Paige for some
nip training but Bod and his other sister are enjoying some quiet time at
the shelter.

Mommie did a book signing at a book store in Oshawa this week for her
book Journey Across the Rainbow Bridge.

The shelter is still looking for volunteers to help with the renovations
on Aug 29, 30 & 31.

All my love! Harley "Bug"
