"RIGHT ON RINGO!" Hi friends! It's me your friend Jerimiah, the handsomest chocolate spotted ferret mascot ever! Well to say things are busy here at the shelter is an understatement! BUT we are making such fine progress. One boy is visiting Dr Karen for to get fixed- now he looked pretty fine to me I couldn't see him broken at all - and then Dr Karen let Mom know he just might not come back-- seems her tech is falling in love with him. Guess I won't have to compete with him Yahoo! So then yesterdays Dr Georges fixed the pretty pretty chocolate gal-- and I couldn't see a blasted thing wrong with her either- she matches the spot on my side adn I cannot wait for her to come back-- I might just ask her on a date! But the BEST THING happened last night-- or early this AM actually... see shelter Dad comes down in the early AM and puts the night crew to bed-- then he lets out Biscuit , Gravy & Disney- the shy kids that gets nervous around others-- he also lets Salsa & Summer out in the small room.... today he did just that as usual! BTW, Biscuit who had pink pettie pants form adrenal stuff- well she is sporting a big while fluffy coat now after eating mom's special witches brew anti adrenal soup -- the vet is really pleased and so is mom! I kind of miss the funny outfit though- not many gals wear reverse shorts here! And Ringo my brawny looking Christmas boy decided he just could not wait any longer. As Dad left the room to go to his work-- Ringo started the best ferret trick ever- the just let me out of the cage routine. Well he did shake and grab and bite the door and finally, finally the top latch let go. Well rino did the ferret snake routine and pushed himself right out of the cage. He is so joyfully yuoung he didn't at all care the old kids were out he just danced and hopped and played water dish all the fun things. When Mom came down to clean the cages and put the ol duffers back first one to greet her was RINGO! Well- Gravy you certainly changed she said! hahahahah.... silly Mom then she looked around and sure enough there was Gravy looking at her like she had three heads! I am so pleased the little secret that I whispered to him when I got to visit sure did pay off.. this kid is a GOOD STUDENT! I can't wait to teach him some more. Poor Red has got a cold- Mom said it is cuz he has been sleeping near the doorway and that the drafties come in -- it sure has been cold here- she put thick curtains to keep the window drafts away but the door things well who would tell a ferret to sleep in front of a doorway anyway? So now Red is taking some medicine to help chase away the snuffies! Now Mom is watching all of us so close to make sure no one else starts snuffies and sneezies... gosh never a rest with her! SHE says we all have to be healthy for the gal to come back form Aunt Judy's after being fixed . AND soon she says all the newbie kids have to have booster shots for distemper prevention -- but she needs to make sure no one has a cold first! I like the playing inn the snow part-- but I think digging in the dirt would be great too! I like the warm days when we can have windows open and breezies drifting in-- anyone out there got some heat guns to melt all this danged cold snow? FOAMY FIRES- I am so happy FOAMY FRIES are at Ferret Wise.. Mom couldn't buy them anymore at the Ferret store so she bought some -- and then bought some extras for the folks who come to visit... you can get some on ebay with my gorgeous window sticker -- and also Mom has some remaining calendars at special prices to get them off the shelf and help pay the vets-- if you want to see them or the hammies etc on ebay you can see them at: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems &userid=creativekolor&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=25 She is already starting with Spring sacks and all to try and get the weather warmer here-- there is just too much ice! Until we make more history here at the shelter! Hug those humans- and nibble a few toes! Your buddy- Jerimiah Ferretwise [Posted in FML issue 4073]
