>From: Ingrid K Lower >I came out of the kitchen to see a 36 yr old bald man chasing and >scaring the cats with Derby. He also was trying to make "dook" sounds. I can just see that! A few days ago I was visiting with my neighbor Kelly, the one I infected with Ferretitis. (She's up to 3 now, and a bunny.) Her husband Ed ("No damn animals in this house!") came home from work, dressed in diesel-stained jeans and work boots, carrying a lunch pail. Upon entering the house, he dropped his pail and grabbed up the nearest fert, and began kissing and nuzzling it. This is the man who would throw away a dish if an animal touched it! Then he 'berated' Kelly for not giving the kids enough treats and neglecting them...joking, of course. The newest baby Bear, (a humane society rescue with the CUTEST underbite, like a little bulldog) went to use the litter box. I watched in disbelief as this man jumped up and down clapping his hands and babbling baby talk, praising his "little man"!!! Ed was acting like a three year old. Did I mention he is nearly 70? I love ferrets...and I love their effect on people!
