Some of you really know how to work the heart with the postcards you had sent...:) Troy Lynn, I'm glad I read yours last...I wouldn't have been able to read the rest through the tears...I was already leaking tears from so many others. It was so extra special because part of it had to do with her stopping and listening...yes...exactly what a deaf ferret should now be able to do after crossing the bridge. It was so meaningful. Thank you all. She was buried next to our cat who came in as a rescue from down the road on a dark and stormy night who also had only months with us before being struck by a car. We placed 4 miniature red roses from the bush my college kid bought me for Valentine's Day to go with Yuki to greener pastures. One representing each of us in the family. If anyone was interested, her picture is on our family website at http://www.geocities.com/clan_jennings/petpics.html . She is, of course, the albino...Tama no Yuki... Japanese translation: Ball of Snow. You are all a very special bunch of people. It truly takes another dedicated individual to really understand how these wonderful creatures become such a part of our hearts. I am now one quarter shy of the ferret spot in my heart.
