To everyone a happy holidays. To all who have or will lose their babies during the season, may their memories warm your celebrations. I haven't read but very few of the FML since March of 2000 (probably less than a dozen). I know because I still have them sitting in my inbox waiting for me to find time. I plan to catch up some day. If someone is missing a back copy, hey I probably have it in my inbox. (Did Ronnie ever make an honest man of Bill?) [If I say "No", is that a paradox? BIG] I thought I would look thorough the list tonight. Oh what a night to pick. I can't stop crying. Maybe the passing ferrets were the reason the list kept getting regulated to the back of things to do. I recently closed my shelter (the time the babies took up being another reason I didn't have time to read). The Pensacola Ferret Rescue took my babies in. Please visit them at www.weloveferrets.com . They work really hard to provide a good place for needy furbutts. They fund raise very hard and get the babies everything they need. Susie gives them 24 hours a day of her time and attention. I miss my babies but they are finding homes (something I didn't have time to actively pursue), loving the ill, and absolutely spoiling them rotten. People may not want them when they find out how spoiled they really are (they have their own ball pit, no trips to Mickey D's needed - except for Dad to snag balls maybe). Even though I am virtually a stranger nowadays, I want to add my 2 cents to the question of why people would take in ferrets that they can't afford: Because To Many Of You Aren't!!!!!!!! I've been there, I did it for 10 years. I've had vet bills I couldn't pay and I made decisions on who could really do without what. And lord help, in about 4 more years the credit cards will finally be paid off. Help out or compliment or shut up. Preferably - help out.
