Well, it's funny how these things happen, but who am I to argue as to the why's and wherefores... that would be looking a gift horse in the mouth. It seems that the word is out now that I write, design, and edit our shelter's newsletter. And it's pretty darn good if I say so myself. I have been receiving a number of requests recently from people who wish to receive to the Alberta Ferret Society's official newsletter called the Bandit's Bulletin. The good news is that we can make it available to you, where ever you may live! For just a small donation of $12 (and that's in Canadian dollars) we will send you out 6 issues of this great newsletter for a year. The money collected then goes back to the AFS to help us pay for the production and mail out. Anything left over goes back into the general fund to help the ferrets in our care. You'll receive 12-14 pages of up to date ferret news on medical issues, articles on those issues that plague ferret owners the most, interesting perspectives on dealing with ferret behaviours, a fun page filled with activities, and you'll even see a new and exclusive-to-Bandit's-Bulletin-ferret cartoon! You'll read about interesting ferret issues from our local veterinary community. There is even a series of articles dedicated in arming the average ferret owner, and teaching non-ferret people the things they need to know before getting one. We're always looking for contributions... maybe you'd like to sell your products through our newsletter. Just contact me for more information on how to place an ad. Each issue is fun and informative and also gives a sneak peak into the goings on of a ferret shelter and rescue. If you think you'd be interested in giving it a try, a complimentary viewing copy can be made available to you... all you need to do is get in contact with me. Sound easy? It is! And you'll be helping ferrets in another small part of the world! Thank you for your interest and thanks to those who suggested I post to the FML about this. I hope to hear from more of you soon!
