Hi all, Just one final reminder that tomorrow is the date of Maine's Second Ferret Frolic. It's going to be held at the American Legion on Rte 25 in Westbrook. Doors open at 11 and we will close the day at 3:00 with raffles and a door prize. The day is supposed to be drizzly and what better way to spend a dreary day than with your ferrets in a warm dry hall having fun, meeting other ferret lovers, and maybe even bringing home a blue ribbon or two and some neat ferret stuff! Vendors on site will have ferret jewelry, stained glass, T-shirts, heating pads, ferret screensavers, nice strong plastic bottles for your ferretone, hammocks, sleep sacks, books on ferrets, etc, etc, etc. for sale. There will be all kinds of neat stuff in the Chinese auction and silent auction tables too. How about some tickets to the Portland Sea Dogs games? How about a basket full of ferret treats? What about some nice new adorable hammocks and sleep sacks? We even have the Ferret Chronicle books, signed by Mr. Bach! So consider joining us. All proceeds go to a good cause--3 local ferret shelters! These shelters need your support and funding in order to continue to rescue homeless and unwanted ferrets. Ferrets who otherwise would be dumped in the woods or abandoned on the side of the road someplace, or even worse. So come on out and join us and have a good time. You won't be disappointed! For more info, call Jim at 207-727-6905, Nicole at 207-725-8437, or Stephanie at 603-539-5631. [Posted in FML issue 3919]
