I think I have too much on my mind lately... Cage Cleaning Demolition crew (me) moves in to annihilate and eradicate Castle Poo. Housekeeping (me again) takes over to sweep up any litter that has been liberated from its intended residence (aka "The Box") also all the food that somehow tastes better if eaten off the floor... Laundry services (you'll never guess who...) scoops up all washables (the inanimate ones) and tosses them in the washer. Dietary (oh, oh pick me, pick me!) (as if there were any other takers for the job) empties all water containers, cleans them, prepares cocktail (ice water, Bi-odor, vitamin supplement) and grabs a nice cool refreshing glass of ice water for myself while I'm there, pulls all shelves out of Fuzzy Taj Mahal to take them outside for the power wash. (takes a drink of water) returns the nice and temporarily clean shelves to the fuzzy condo, (another drink) replaces nice warm clean bedding, litter boxes, (another drink for me)... nauseating retching commences... In my cage cleaning enthusiasm I used two very similar cups for my water and the fuzzies water... apparently too similar. Yes, the cocktail is THAT bad. I'll bet I never snack while cleaning the cage again. On the upside I shouldn't smell bad tomorrow and I won't need my vitamins tonight... I really need to get some sleep I think. Oh well, if you can't laugh at yourself -who can you laugh at??? (crummiset thing was that I broke a couple of toes monday night so not only was I extreamly slow to get everything as clean as I usually do, but my foot was killing me tonight. Couldn't stand to not have everything tidy for "their highnesses" though...) Now that I've had a break I'm off to clean the fishes tank/change water & feed them...Then I tackle the cats room...The chaos never ends... Another notice about my survey~ I was wondering what the bathing preferences of other owners are. What do you use and how often do you use it? I've started a spreadsheet of the responses I have received and am interested in learning what the most common practices/preferences are. So far I've had five or six responses and none of them are very similar which makes me think that there are a lot of others out there that have their own method of doing it as well. Also let me know how often and what products you use for ear care...E-mail me and let me know what you do/use and if you'd be interested in hearing what the results are of my survey.
