I'm pleased to announce 4 new additions to our furry family - but they aren't weasels (in fact the weasels don't even know they exist - and we plan to keep it that way!) My older daughter now has 2 mice, Cottonball and Kangaroo - named for their constant imitation of their respective namesakes. My teenage son now has 2 hamsters, Natalie and Choflin (or something like that - no idea how he came up with that name.) I'm proud of my kids - they took it upon themselves to research the animals before we got them - we didn't have to tell them this. On another note, I've been trying to figure something out for a while. I have seen and heard references to Lupron as a treatment for adrenal disease. However, I have also seen plenty that seem to say that it only masks it as it treats the symptoms. I have also seen it implied that it is in between - treating the symptoms as well as slowing or halting the progression of the growth. What does Lupron actually do, and how do you know whether surgery or medication is the better choice for a particular ferret? Shannon Sterling, Pandora, & Jasmin [Posted in FML issue 3889]
