>My first priority is living beings. The first priority of this priority >is living beings that need me most and cannot do for themselves, animals >(babies and young children would fall in this classification as well as >plants [well they are living too]). Second in this first priority would >be those that need me but can do for themselves (older children, some >family & friends). Third in this first priority would be those that >don't need me (other family & friends). Hello all ~ This is wonderful thinking, and I used to feel that way. BUT, over the years of giving...giving...learning to heal...and healing...I had to relearn some things. I am not a taker - never have been. But after 2 strokes in 3 days - 2 years ago, I learned I needed to put me high up on that list. So now I do take care of myself, by eating better, doing little things for myself that make me smile, taking my coumadin, and by working with my fitness trainer twice a week. All of this places me in a wonderful frame of mind to help my animals and my patients as well as my family. So, intrepid listees, get out your pencils, ugh no - pens, and write your name at the top of your list, and be good to yourselves a bit each day. God bless all of you!
