Hey All, I saw this commercial a few days ago. If they hadn't shown a real ferret up front I would have thought it was a stuffed bunny stuck to his lip. But they did. I read Benita's post about her team mates. Amazing how little it takes to sway people's feelings. One minutes they're accepting, the next they are not. So how about this as an idea. Verizon makes a followup commercial to turn this one around. I'm no screen writer but see what you think: Scene opens of first commercial. The commercial plays through much more rapidly (perhaps with some filler cut out, kinda like a flash frame). It then fades out and back into the guy laying on the floor knocked out. He wakes to find his loving ferret dialing 911 because he has fallen and hit his head or something. The caption could read, "Verizon text messaging, for those times when there are no words to be spoken." We take a negative and turn it and the ferret's image into a positive. What do you think. Am I ready for Hollywood? :) Regards, Hawk & Patrick, Salem, Faye, Bandit, Bowser and Bailey the ferts Pyewacket the cat and Smokey the African Grey and introducing Azriel the grey haired, green eyed kitten. Blessings to all animals great and small and those of us who love and adore them. [Posted in FML issue 3877]
