Someone asked how to get the bones soft enough to go through a grinder. If you pressure cook them they will fall apart in your hand. But I would question just how much nutrition is left in the chicken with all the cooking. And especially if you add the Ferravite and kibble to the mix to cook. Any of our vets out here have an opinion? Also I would think that your butcher shop would grind the whole chicken for you usually for free if you explain what you need it for. I know mine here at Kroger will. Thankfully I have not had to use them but I asked to make sure. Regards, Hawk & Patrick, Salem, Faye, Bandit, Bowser and Bailey the ferts Pyewacket the cat and Smokey the African Grey and introducing Azriel the grey haired, green eyed kitten. Blessings to all animals great and small and those of us who love and adore them. [Posted in FML issue 3847]
