My little cavy, ferret, avian and rodent rescue (CFAR) has been so busy with trying to get supplies up to the N. Arizona evacuation sites and trying to set up foster homes down here for the ones who's owners don't claim them or need to board them for awhile while they get their lives back on track ... I haven't had any time to look at the list for twelve days now. Today, with my little Hamza sitting with me (quietly, for once, which is worrisome) I've finally been able to look at the messages and SO many of our little friends have crossed the bridge in this short time. Please know that I have not been ignoring anyone, and that now in catching up I'm crying with each one of you... tears of joy for all the happiness and love that our fuzzies bring us... tears of angry frustration at the unfairness of their short lifespans... tears of sorrow as I think of each of us that has had our heart stolen by one of these little loves, and had to bear their loss.
