As a ferret owner I'm sure we've all become used to the typical questions
of those not familiar with these wonderful animals. Is that a rat?!
What kind of dog is that? Do they bite? Do they really smell as bad as
I've heard? etc...

Today I had to pass on the cutest "new" one that came from a 5 year old
at the park today. He asked the usual questions- what is it, does it
bite, can I pet it... then he asked what she eats. I told him she eats
kitten food and he got this shocked look and said, " She doesn't eat
Koala food!?" I have to say I have never had anyone make the connection
to a koala and found it pretty amusing.

Made my first hammie last night... Wasn't as easy as I thought doing it
freehand. My son found some spongebob squarepants fabric though and some
really soft fabric (forget what it is, it's used on infant pajamas
though- real soft on one side..) and he wanted me to make one for her.
I've made a lot of stuff before, but just guessed to make this. Anyone
have specific measurements/sewing suggestions I could use if I ever want
to make another one? I used snaps on this one and they seem to be
working OK, but I wasn't sure if there was something else that worked
better??? I thought about velcro...

Still looking for another ferret for Kiki. If anyone lives near
Indianapolis and knows a ferret needing a home email me. (... we're so
eager to get another we've already decided on a name... Minky Boodle
~it's a space ghost/brak thing..)
