Hey all! i bit one of the "Bosses" on the big toe the other day so i wasn't allowed to play in the ferretone pool for a few hours, but i *was* allowed to play with the cheweasel tree! What FUN! mommie and the volunteers have had a busy week! last weekend, they took in Mitzi and Leah as well as Tegan and Dusty. Mitzi came from a home while Leah was a pet store kid who bites hard and was going to be put to sleep. Tegan came from an animal pound, COVERED in ticks! He's doing well now, but hasn't been handled much by whomever had him and doesn't know his strength. Dusty is only 11 weeks old and a little hand shy, but he's settling in. Mammy had another surgery, this time to take out her adrenal gland. the vet called mommie during the surgery to tell her that Mammy probably wouldn't make it through, but i was right there watching over her and she is now back at the shelter and doing GREAT! mommie picked up my ashes from the University on Thursday. she cried a lot again. Dr. Taylor did something nice for her and had a paw print of mine ready for her. it was painted green and has my name on it in gold. i thought it was pretty, mommie said she will cherish it forever. mommie is going to the UK for a bit of a rest. i'm going to be with her in spirit! love to all!
