Okay, we are in a situation where we were going to replace some flooring last year but had over $11,000 in vet bills so that project went out the window. We've tried a HUGE number of various pet stain and odor products, other carpet products, enzyme cleaners, etc. with them barely making a dent in what happened here (Had a little one who had spinal lympho so lacked urinary and fecal control; this was Meeteetse for whom we'd gotten a wheelchair from Doggon and was carefully medicated to enjoy her last half-year plus). Just yesterday we found Equalizer from EVSCO of IGI. It is the BEST thing we have ever found, by a wide, wide margin. It didn't set off any allergies, it just smells of wintergreen, and it has removed more of the stain than the last four products did together. It did cost $11, but that is cheap compared to what we paid for stuff that didn't work. This might be something to help us save our carpet a while longer while not being overly scented, and that is a combination we truly need right now. When I called IGI to find out who carries it locally they told me that the EVSCO and Tomyln divisions had been sold just last month and gave me a different number to call for info (1-800-267-5707) at whsat sounded like "Vetoquinol". The word from them is that they don't keep records to find out to whom they sell but that they only sell to vets so I'll have to keep calling around if i want to find any place with the Equalizer which is closer than our hour's trip yesterday. When i asked about easier access a costumer service person told me that it is the same thing as "See Spot Go" but I think that we tried that product in the past without it working. Now I have this question: *** Is "See Spot Go" actually the same thing or was she just mentioning a similar product? *** If you have tried "See Spot Go" could you get in touch with me privately instead of flooding the lists and tell me if it was head and shoulders better than anything else (which is the case with Equalizer). If it's not the same or if they are changing formulations I sure hope that they are going to the Equalizer formulation rather than changing Equalizer to another one that doesn't work as well. We've tried probably over a dozen products on this, so if it has been mentioned in the FHL or FML it has likely been tried. We are VERY allergic to Natures Miracle. We would like to hear if "See Spot Go" has only a fresh wintergreen scent and works incredibly well, because if so it might be the same thing as the Equalizer instead of just being in the same general category. If so, we have an option which doesn't involve a very long drive and we need that. If not, then we will just have to drive if many further calls continue to not find someone more locally with Equalizer. [Posted in FML issue 3819]
