Ferretguy, Randy Horton, is still here. He has been lurking in the shadows of the FML and crying for each and every loved one that has crossed the Rainbow bridge. He sends his condolences to each and everyone that has lost one. We are moved and trying to get Ferretland rebuilt and Especially Ferrets established in El Paso County. The one problem we have ran into is that our reputation has followed us and we have been getting more rescues/surrenders than adoptions. We are up 30+ ferrets now and about 10 of them are adrenal. Remember the 7000 lbs of Mazuri food that was donated to us by Mazuri, well we still have about 4000 lbs of it left. If anybody is interested and can come to pick it up call us at 719-683-9523. We may be able to meet you at some point to deliver the food to you. We would love to see this food go to somebody or shelter that needs it, than go to waste at our place. We are appalled at what we are hearing about this pet store in CT. Tara, your right, if we had the finances, backing, and support that the group at the Meadows Mall in Nevada did, we would be on our way out there in a flash. (Yellow van and all) Has anyone tried to talk to the manager? Tell them that this ferret needs medical care. Melissa, it is true that the decision is yours, but I would like to see that ferret get the attention, treatment, and love he deserves. Go by what your heart is telling you.
