HI friends, It's your Buddy- 'ol Jerimiah here- Hooooeee! THINGS ARE A HAPPENING HERE-- oH boy! What a gorgeous day today- all the rain went away and took the thunderboomers too! Hooray! I helped Mom get the newsletter finished so that Auntie Judy can print them all up-- I will see if I can help them mail it by next weekend-- I am SUCH a good helper! Our shelter friend and web page master Karen has been hard at work too- She has posted the Summer Cameo Pendant Raffle pics & info on the main shelter web page www.ferretwise.org This is a one of a kind piece created for a great green agate cameo from Munas Treasures all set in solid sterling with a chain and appraisal from the jeweler who created it! Take a peek! Karen has also put all the information on the super event tees for Ferretstock on the site and neat calendar information too. Pictures of the NEW DESIGN Ferretstock tees (ADVANCED ORDER ONLY) are featured on the site as well as the GREAT Ferretstock TOTE which you can get for FREE! visit http://www.ferretwise.org/calendar.html What a hard worker Karen is-- I hear she has a new ferret gal that I want to meet! It is kind of quiet now that Garnet & Deisel both found homes but Mom let me sniff around with Harry today-- he is kind of neat-- though pretty quiet she thinks he might make a nice friend for me like Rex-- he can't hear either-- we could get together and laugh at Mom when she is talking to the kids-- that moth opening and closing like a fish on dry land-- hahaha ooops don't tell Mom I said that! oh Boy I can see it now no cheerio's for a week!! NOW we have a winner in the Quilt Raffle for Ferret Wise- the folks is all excited that this time the quilt stayed in the EAST ( you might remember the last quilt went all the way to CA!) -- it will be living with Jessica Nagel in NY! She just talked to the folks and will be expecting the postal man to bring it- MAYBE I can sneak in the box I am ready for a bigger adventure! :) The folks thank everyone who entered the quilt raffle there will be the last one in 2003 unless they find someone who can sew quilts for the raffle events ( instead of hammies!) , This raffle raised $417 for the shelter fund. That sure is a lot of Cheerio's- but Mom said there were more important things like food, ferretone tests and vet stuff phooey! :( Mom has got some really neat hammies and a tee or two on ebay http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems &userid=creativekolor&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=25 -- she is cleaning out the rooms to ready the place for the setting up of Ferretstock III so check back often ( she really needs more space) I love it when boxes arrive they make my life more interesting! Well you all hang in there - I will be popping in with more exciting news real soon! [Posted in FML issue 3809]
