There is one of our members who has been silent for a long time here. Her name is Lynn. She lives in Florida. She is one of the heroes that took in 11 of the Utah ferrets. Her friend Joey drove for 2 days straight to rescue the ferrets. Presently, Lynn is helping a ferret shelter move onto her property. They are going through that nightmare from He-__ that occurs when one must get a permit, and bring in electricity and water and building codes must be approved, and the site must be approved, and the work takes forever and is never done correctly, and.............. She has more rescued ferrets than most shelters with the most glorious home for them I could imagine. Really. I have seen the pictures. What a haven. But she is sooooooo overworked and exhausted. A number of the ferrets have insulinoma which means regular meds, vet visits with full blood work ups, and big bucks that she does not have. She has adrenal surgeries to find money for. And she has other animals she cares for along with the house and acres of land and more poop than any of us would ever care to see in a year that she must clean up each day. She is one of those people who cannot do enough-until a heart attack occurs. Please say a prayer that one of the most beautiful ferret people will stay strong, get some help, get some sleep, and find some balance in her life. Her name is LYnn. [Posted in FML issue 3773]
