Someone said on the FML (I'm not sure exactly when, but I think within the past week) that "IF YOU VACCINATE YOUR FERRETS, THEY WILL BE SAFE." But that's not necessarily true, is it? I thought a vaccination was a precaution, not a safeguard. I also thought there were more than one kind of distemper (bacterial, viral, etc.) and ferrets aren't vaccinated against all of them. Can someone with more information than I do please enlighten the group? It worries me to think that someone would vaccinate their fuzz and then think there's no way they could contract distemper. Thanks a bunch! Ellen and Crew (Bridget, Brandon, Zoe, Zeus, Cujo, Chaos, Clyde, Grandma, Bandit, Smokey, and MollyCat...Missing Bear Ryan at the Bridge and Cheech and Chong who were kidnapped.)
