I posted a while ago to let you know of the tragic death of a tiny little ferret Marshall Farms shipped to a Petco store. The baby died in my hands after seizing. I revisited the store last night with Kim and we were happy to learn from a new employee there that the 2 remaining ferrets were probably the last ones that we would see from Marshall Farms. Petco is in the process of finding a new distributor for their ferrets. Not just that Petco, but all Petco Stores will hopefully soon be utilizing a new distributor. Perhaps with this loss of business, they will finally understand that the babies belong with their mothers and not in a crate on their way to a store. Keep your fingers crossed. This may be one of many hurdles, but it's one that feels good to cross. --Lynn (Jake & Fibi) [Posted in FML issue 3790]
