Golden State Ferret Society lost one of it's precious members today. Carol Moses passed away today from injuries sustained last week when her car was hit by a drunk driver. Carol was well loved by the ferret community here in California. She was a very kind, loving and spiritual person and a dear friend to many of our members. She is survived by her family, her friends and her 4 fur kids, Chompers, Sonny, Honey Bear and Bonita. For Carol, ferrets held a special place in her heart. She was there many weekends at pet stores soliciting signatures for our legalization petitions. She participated in our fundraisers, pet expos and Round-ups. She was always one to volunteer for the ferret cause. This ferret soldier will be greatly missed. We know that she is already taking care of our fuzzies at the Rainbow Bridge.
