>From: Kathy Colgin [log in to unmask] >It is like they are breathing in and out really fast with their mouth >open. Like a HEE HEE HEE HEE... Anyone know what I am referring to? Of my three ferts, Baxter is the only one who makes that sound. We love it because it's so uniquely him! He'll "pant" when we put him in the tub for a bath or when he's really excited during play, usually just before throwing himself on his back to wrestle with himself or going into a play-rant running backwards. He'll pant and back-up at a furious pace until he backs into a wall and startles himself. Then he'll pant again, jumping for joy! Baxter's an odd one, but I never thought that the sound is anything but a sign of excitement. Enjoy! - Jennifer (Kona, Scout, and Baxter) Alexandria, VA [Posted in FML issue 3764]
